T-Mobile is Giving Away Numbers That Don’t Belong To Them

So we’ve been getting some crazy text messages here around the house.  My wife is getting pictures of flowers from Baltimore Maryland and I keep getting text messages in Spanish.  The problem is that my wife doesn’t know anybody in Baltimore and I don’t speak Spanish.  We have come to find out that T-Mobile is just giving our numbers to other people.  That’s right they are just sending out working numbers to new customers. 

What seems to have happened was that we started our cell phones with SunCom well over 5 years ago when we moved to this area.  After being disappointed in the service and in the lack of quality phones we ported our numbers to Sprint so we could get a couple of Instincts.  Well apparently T-Mobile then bought Suncom.  Then they decided to start giving out our phone numbers to other people.  We are trying to get this all straightened out but it is a giant pain in the ass.  So thanks T-Mobile!
