35 Miles/Gallon- Wow

The administration has said that they want to enact laws that would require passenger cars and trucks to average 35 miles per gallon.  Every passenger car and truck.  The car dealers are not happy but it really is their own fault.

The car dealers have been complaining and suing for years over state regulations, especially California’s tough emissions standards, which 16 other states follow.  They argued that it was difficult to have to build cars that had to meet the different standards and that states shouldn’t be allowed to make these rules.  Well now the government is stepping up with a more aggressive plan than any of the states so I guess the car dealers can’t be too mad.
