And on the scary news front, apparently now there is genetic testing on babies that will let you know if your son or daughter has what it takes to be an athletic superstar.  The story talks about how Doctors have developed a home analysis test that parents can check their children to see if there is the makeup for speed and strength in the babies.  Oh does this seem like a bad idea.

All I can imagine are the parents putting pressure on those poor kids that have good dna.  We already have parents holding children back a year in elementary school so that they can be better at sports in High School, I can’t think it is good for parents to think that the kid should be better than they are based on genetic material.  Seems like a perfect way to make any kid hate sports.
